LAUNCHING September 30, 2021
No-code gives us the ultimate advantage.
Anyone with an internet connection can create software. But with all the different tools and things to know, it's hard to know where to start.
No-Code Masterclass gives you the "must-have" knowledge to approach any build with confidence, regardless of your professional background or technical skills.
🔮 How No-Code Has Changed Everything
Used to, if you wanted software developed, you had two choices:
1) spend thousands of dollars and years of studying to earn a Computer Science Degree
2) spend thousands of dollars and pay someone to build it for you
That's great for developers, but not so great for the 99.7% of the world who can't code. We won't realize the potential of humanity when we're not empowered.
No-code tools like Adalo, Webflow, Zapier, Airtable, and Bubble have unleashed the power of software development. With these tools, we can not only change our lives but the communities and businesses around us.
🛠 What Can You Build with No-Code?
No-Code can be broken down into four common parts:
👉 Websites → Landing Pages, Marketing Sites, Gated/Member Content
👉 Web Apps → Website + Data + Automations
👉 Mobile Apps → iOS/Android ready!
👉 Automation → If you're doing a task more than twice, automate it!
😎 Who is No-Code Masterclass for?
The No-Code Masterclass is for two kinds of people:
You have this idea that you've been sitting on, but you don't know how to launch it. Tech overwhelms you. You need help communicating your ideas and gaining traction.
You're interested in the no-code space but don't know where to start. You're not looking for a heavy investment of time or money, but want to see what all the hype is about. You see the magic happening and want to jump in.
🤩 What you'll learn:
I get asked to speak about no-code and I work with "non-technical" people a lot and over time, I've realized people are stuck on the same problems. The first version of the No-Code Masterclass is dedicated to people looking to get started.
Tools: We'll look at the best-in-class tools, their use-cases and limitations, and how to select which tools are right for your project.
Fun Tech Talk: Are you totally lost when it comes to words like "UI" or "Grid" or even more scary things like "relational database management?" They're big words but easy to understand with the right guidance.
Once we've set our foundation, we'll jump straight in with a lecture series on:
DatabasesBy the end of this course, you will understand how to:
- Setup a database, correctly
- Maintain a database
- Use a relational database
Part 1-4 We'll get to building
Together, we're going to build four things:
A website, a web app, a mobile app, and automate tasks
And for grins, I'm adding some BONUS CONTENT.
- How to approach builds
- What questions to ask to create a proper scope
- How to prioritize features and functionality
- No-Code best use-cases and limitations
- Common Mistakes and how to AVOID them
And access to a community of people just like you to help you along the way.
The presale is $99.
Once the launch happens on September 30th, the price will go to $129.
For every 10 sales of the No-Code Masterclass, I'll create one ~free~ scholarship.
*Part of the sales of this course are going directly to Women in No-Code.
If within 7 days of No-Code Masterclass launching you're not happy with it, you'll get a 100% refund, no questions asked.
One of the ways No-Code is going to succeed is through mass adoption. Courses that are 8-10x the cost of the No-Code Masterclass aren't accessible to everyone. This solution aims to equip those who want to learn and are eager to get started.
🤔 Why Learn From Me?
In case we haven't met, I'm Lacey.
I accidentally got into the no-code space some years ago and jumped right into creating products and helping others. Before this, I was Head of Product for a SaaS company and thought I loved creating products so much that I should learn to code. After learning to code, I realized that it wasn't for me but still valued all I learned.
I took my product and software engineering knowledge and applied it to no-code. I've worked with startups all over the US, helping them build and craft their products, teaching at places like Stanford and teams like Bloomberg Beta.
Currently, I am Head of Education at Adalo. I also have a podcast - Visual Dev FM - and speak at various conferences and workshops.
